RAPPAHANNOCK CLIFFS will offer many outdoor activities to keep you fit and healthy. Walkers, runners, and mountain bikers can trek over three miles of trails through a variety of wildlife habitat. Terrain ranges from relatively flat to mild incline/decline to downright rugged. Cyclists can take advantage of numerous routes meandering the countryside, shores, and towns of the Northern Neck. Straight and flat or curves and hills – it's all there, ranging in length from 15 to more than 100 miles.

The community pier will provide easy access for water activities. Paddlers, swimmers and fisherman will love the clean pristine waters of the Rappahannock. An hour of solitude kayaking under Fones Cliffs will give a new perspective on things. The bounty of striped bass, catfish, and herring will give fisherman plenty of stories to tell. Boaters will enjoy exploring the John Smith Water Trail from Fredericksburg down to the Chesapeake Bay.

History lovers will take pleasure in the numerous historic sites and cultural museums. The local Garden Clubs offer tours to some of the historic homes.

There is plenty to do in and around Rappahannock Cliffs. But sometimes, doing nothing is the best of all.
